pretty weekend finds. (ps. i hate the flu).

well for one thing, I have a flu. And a "highly contagious" one. The doctor says it could last a week. oh momma, help me. 

how i generally feel right now.

and it doesn't help any that the weather is dreadfully blustery. honestly, if it's going to be this bloody cold, could it at least snow? please.

i am not a good listener.

i'm very into myself. and i know it. i'm not afraid to admit it. and i recognize this is wrong.  

lately, when i'm talking with someone, i've tried to let them do most of the talking and i intently and sincerely listen. it's not easy. i can go off on something and keep talking about it forever. boring. no one cares.

i'm on an adventure to discover the little listening bug inside me. maybe a listening butterfly? i like butterflies. 

see! there i go again. just chatting away.

...i had a flippin' good valentine's day.

i started the day with chocolate. (yes, for breakfast). it was delightful.

a white gerbera daisy from the pops.

a darling bouquet of pink tulips from me mum. and a warm card, of course.

red nails.

we built a tent in the front room and watched Madeline on the telly. 

wore a heart sticker on my cheek all day, (gift from the little neighbor girl).

red stockings.  

went to The Vow with some lovely girlies. good movie. a bit cheesy. but cute. (was I the only female who didn't cry during this movie?

oh, and the couple next me...freak, i was ready to slap them. just because it's "love" day doesn't mean you have to be in each other's laps all night. holy bieber, just get a room. 

i went home and, you got it, more chocolate. (it 's a love affair).

I weighed myself this morning and I had gained a pound. awesome.

today, I've had two stalks of celery. and then I broke out the chocolates again. and now I'm eating more celery. i'm pathetic.

I blame cupid.
